Racers and non-racers, we are looking for volunteers to help put on the 2024 Colorado Governor’s Cup Regatta. If you plan to race, we could use some help in several areas over the weekend so that the operation runs smoothly. If you are not planning to race, or you are new to sailing and want to experience what it’s like, or want to engage with folks that do, we could use your help as well.

• Friday October 12^th is early check-in, and we need people to help with setup and assistance for boats that show up that evening to prepare to race that weekend. We are also planning a BBQ on the dock that evening for which we need help with setting up and burger flipping.
• Saturday is also setup and check-in, and we anticipate the need for assistance with that activity as well as preparations of the Race committee boats, and helping the visiting boats get situated at the lake.
• If you or someone you know is not planning to race but would still like to be part of the weekend, we need on the water help on each of the three boats that will support the racing which includes the Race Committee start boat, the finish boat, and the chase/marks boat.
• We need volunteers to direct and assist those racers who are going to launch and retrieve their boats before and after both days of racing.
• Finally, Sunday afternoon we will have an awards ceremony where trophies will be given out to the winners along with pizza to close out the weekend
