New COVID-19 “Stay at Home” orders covering both the Denver Metro Area and whole state are in effect. The Colorado order is in effect until April 11th and the Denver Metro order is in effect until April 17th. Both the state-wide and Denver Metro orders allow individuals to leave their residences for “outdoor activity” in groups of four or fewer, observing six-foot distancing, and this should apply to individuals boating by themselves. The Chatfield Marina and boat ramps are scheduled to be ready for the opening of the marina on April 1st.
The CSYC Board is monitoring how the changing “new normal” will impact our club organized racing programs. For now, the Skippers’ meeting scheduled for April 11th is postponed and will be rescheduled as a telecom prior to the start of racing.
The CSYC Board will provide updates to our racing programs and any new procedures to ensure the health and safety of our members and friends.
Stay safe
