Small boat (dinghy) sailing starts in just two weeks.  Get your yoga stretches going and your abs six-packed for those long distance hiking beats.  NOR and SIs are now posted.  Note that your boats DO need to be inspected by the zebra mussel patrol this year every week before you hit the water.  PFDs are REQUIRED and wet suits are recommended for the early season activities.  If you can join us on Tuesday evenings, remember that we tailgate after the racing, so bring a snack to share (bring on the drunken goat cheese).

Dinghy Demo Day – Saturday June 22

Want to try your hand at small boat sailing?  Sailstice is your opportunity!  A  bunch of us dinghy folks will have our boats in Roxborough Cover at the Killdeer parking lot for you to try.  We are there to help and coach as much as you need.  No charge, and we will be providing coffee and donuts.  We will start setting up at about 8 am, and run through noon or whenever interest fades like a tan in winter.  The best sailors in the world started in small boats.
