CSYC welcomes the Lightning Fleet!

• The Lightning is a 19-foot recreational sailboat designed for day sailing and racing. 
• It was designed by Sparkman & Stephens in 1938. 
• The Lightning is a popular and competitive one-design racing class. 
• The boat has a fractional sloop rig, a retractable centerboard, and a V-shaped coaming. 
• The Lightning is sailed in more than 13 countries and in the Pan American Games.
